Ok so I have been convinced to blog!!! I am excited about this because lately I have been having experiences where I would love to share with all of you what has been happening! This weekend has been a bunch of first's!!! I went hiking up a mountain! Ate sushi! It has been 6 weeks in Abbotsford, B.C life has been different from the day to day working and life style, it has been a lot of training, listening to God, developing friendships and learning from amazing teaching. As I was climbing up the mountain, I was so focused on what was in front of me, I did not want to take my eyes off the point ahead, look to the right or left as I felt I would lose focus. I often feel this is a lot like life, if I take my eyes off Jesus, look to the right or the left, I will lose my focus. God is a God who desires relationship with each one of us. I am blessed and privileged to have this time to fully surrender everything to Him. He desires to bless us with every spiritual blessing Eph 1 and to go and make disciples! Over the next 2 weeks, Team DRC will be receiving our visas for DR Congo and Burundi, Africa. We will leave early November for Burundi, Africa for 2 months of language training and enter DR Congo after the election.!
